I have been watching my dentist age along with me, and I have been wondering just how long he will continue. He loves the work and sadly, he didn't stipulate specifics in a contract when he sold the business. Now he's one of the employees and it isn't a good fit. Teeth care really so intimate and I miss his touch and the touch of all those who care about what they do. And that feels like an old story. So far, so good. I'm sad for you that you lost that part. Maybe it's time to look for another 'mom & pop'. My husband owned/operated a retail store for many years & we 'made it', but it wasn't easy to compete with the big businesses. We try to find all the owner operated places we can to give them our business.
